Kehndra
Doreene Isakson
Our
beautiful sweet daughter Kehndra was 19 years old. She is our middle
child. Her younger sister Lindsay, 15, was to be her maid of honor and
Kehndra was to be hers. Kehndra's older brother Jeremy, 22, was always
there for Kehndra when she needed his advice. Kehndra had great hopes
for her future. She was working hard at G.E. as a dispatcher and
making a home with her fiancé Joey and their 18 month old daughter
Angel. She stopped in everyday after work just to see what was going
on, and we miss those visits terribly. She was always calling to see
where we were and what we were doing. As Kehndra's mother, it was
precious to see her as a mother. She was a wonderful mother. We will
do our best to teach her daughter "Angel" (Kehndra's little
munkerpoo) about her wonderful mother from pictures, trophies,
awards, and letters. In hopes of making Kehndra proud of us.
It just isn't fair that we live
in this world without her for 30, 40 or maybe 50 years. It is like she
just disappeared overnight. We still expect her to walk in the door to
help with whatever is going on at the moment. The shock and the pain
is still very strong. We have a lot of love in our family, but a big
piece is gone, and not just out of town, she is gone forever. Our
entire family will suffer forever. From 4 year old Joshua (cousin to
Kehn) who thinks that everyone dies from being shot and 8 year old
Jacob (cousin to Kehn) who has refused to eat so that he can be with
His "Kehn" all because of uninvited guests, and their disregard for
life and because they didn't like being ask to leave by a girl, so
things escalated and shots were fired into a crowd of defenseless
young adults who were running for their lives, 5 were hit. The other 4
have recovered. Now we face the justice system, but I'm sure what ever
comes from this, will not be satisfaction in our eyes.
